Graduated cum laude from Peking Union Medical College, Dr. Hang Gui practised in Beijing Fuwai Hospital as a cardiologist for 4 years. Dr. Hang Gui received his MBA (major in finance) degree from University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dominated in the past 25 years in medical devices and diagnostic business and 2 years in venture capital industry, Dr. Hang Gui joined Shantou University Medical School as the director of Innovation Center and a visiting professor from 2016 to 2018.

Previously Dr. Hang Gui served as a director of Marketing and Sales in DRG Internaitonal, Inc., Deputy General Manager of Anhui Labone Technology Service, Project Director of SINOBIOWAY GROUP, Co-founder of Shanghai Lifoh Biological Technology, Co-founder of Global E Law Firm, General Manager of MP Biomedicals, Vice President of Zynergy Cardiovascular,  and Chief Representative of Medtronic (China).

Dr. Hang Gui is a board director of China Association of Clinial and Laboratory Practice (CACLP).
